Feb 2016 Update

Hi there!

Well 2016 is well underway and we’re pleased to say that we’re continuing to add to our range. The latest additions being a range of leather picture frames, leather frame mirrors – round, rectangle and a sensational floor standing leather (with brass work) mirror.

If you haven’t been into the store lately, we’ve also introduced the Driss Olive Wood range of tableware – mortar & pestle, cutting boards, honey drizzlers, salad servers and serving boards. Olive wood has to be my favourite timber. The grain and composition of the timber is simply something else.

We’ve noticed a lot more folks now looking at rugs, coffee tables, side tables and I guess it could be the time of the year to update the home. We have a good range of Kilims, Jute rugs and Kazak carpets for the floors. Coffee tables, consoles; and display units with an industrial edge (timber and cast iron). In the side table range, contemporary styling with a polished metal finish. Mirrors – well we’ve got a good range going on, with about 12 different styles in a variety of materials and the styling ranges from contemporary to rustic.

If you are looking for something different or a signature piece, I do want to highlight our old Jodhpur doors at Mt Barker and our tall Timorese sculptures (over 2m in height!)

Do come and take a look for yourself, both stores stock pretty much the entire range.

Hope to see you all soon

Take care

New Store Opened – Mt Barker Homemaker Centre

We’re chuffed to announce the opening of our new BARANG store at the Mt. Barker Homemaker Centre (6 Dutton Road, Mt Barker). It’s a fabulous location and it really enables to showcase the range we’ve curated over the past 2 years. So if you’re in the neighbourhood, please do pop by and say hi to Jesse Watts and/or myself.

The space really allows us to showcase the polished metal side tables, coffee tables and mirrors, as well as the French industrial era styled furniture – consoles, bookcases, display units, coffee tables.

More than that…we’ve expanded our range of carpets and rugs. Fine tribal rugs like the Super Kazaks, Ersari, Kargai and Balouch, as well as the comparatively rare silk Soumaks.  Trendy jute rugs – flat woven and braided. Sisal rugs and the more rustic, timeless kilims and runners.

The usual favourites are there as well!

That’s it for now. Look forward to seeing you all at Norwood or Mt Barker
